Minister of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Food \u00d6nder Sennaro\u011flu met with Turkey\u2019s Minister of Forestry and Water Affairs Veysel Ero\u011flu during his visit to Ankara.Stressing in the meeting that TRNC has critical water shortage and how can water be brought to TRNC from Turkey been discussed for years, Sennaro\u011flu noted that with the broad vision of President of Republic of Turkey Erdo\u011fan, water is going to reach to the island on October 28th.<\/p>\n
Sennaro\u011flu told, \u201cWe are going to strive with determination so that even a single drop of that water can be managed and used without any waste and so that it can be used for the development of TRNC.\u201d \u00a0Sennaro\u011flu also gave his condolences to the authorities of state and government of Turkey and public of Turkey for the recent acts of terrorism. Sennaro\u011flu said, \u201cTurkey is a powerful state, it can overcome these acts of terrorism.\u201d Minister of Forestry and Water Affairs Veysel Ero\u011flu told that he is pleased to host Sennaro\u011flu and his committee. \nRepeating that their ministry has huge investments related to Cyprus and that the line that will supply 75 million meters square water has been designed by their ministry and with the addition of the main distribution system in Cyprus, project has cost 1.6 billion Turkish Liras Ero\u011flu noted that there have been investments of lagoons and water-distribution pipelines before.
