After the visit, Erdin\u00e7 Erda\u011fl\u0131 made a statement on behalf of the committee and emphasized that the families of missing persons want the completion of the identification works and added that they want to bury their martyrs as soon as possible. Erda\u011fl\u0131 reminded that they had given blood samples 12 years ago and excavation works had started 8 years ago. He noted that the works on the missing persons issue have taken so long because of the lack of sincerity of the Greek Cypriot Administration and that the Greek Cypriot Administration has refrained from opening the mass graves for many years.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Erda\u011fl\u0131 stated that there are remains of the martyrs who were killed in Ta\u015fkent massacre in 1974, and the remains were found in the Perekli\u015fa region in South Cyprus in January 2014.
