{"id":139079,"date":"2015-10-20T09:37:45","date_gmt":"2015-10-20T06:37:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/moller-cypriots-close-to-a-solution\/"},"modified":"2015-10-20T09:37:45","modified_gmt":"2015-10-20T06:37:45","slug":"moller-cypriots-close-to-a-solution","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/en\/moller-cypriots-close-to-a-solution\/","title":{"rendered":"Moller:  \u201cCypriots close to a solution\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Director-General of the United Nations Office in Geneva &#8211; Michael M\u00f6ller said that Cypriots are close to a solution in Cyprus.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">M\u00f6ller who served as the Secretary-General\u2019s Special Representative for Cyprus from 2006 to 2008 answered the questions of the Anadolu \u00a0Agency reporter regarding the agenda.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Related to the ongoing negotiations to reach a comprehensive solution, M\u00f6ller said \u201cthe Cyprus problem should be solved for the benefit of the Cypriots and the region. It is time for a solution\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Explaining that he is optimistic towards the ongoing Cyprus negotiations, M\u00f6ller said \u201cthe Cyprus problem has been continuing for 40 years and it has never been as close as it is now to a solution.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Furthermore, mentioning the refugee crisis in Europe, Moller said that the refugee crisis is a global crisis that\u2019s why international solidarity should be increased.
