{"id":139339,"date":"2015-12-17T12:46:00","date_gmt":"2015-12-17T10:46:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/bozkir-a-solution-is-approached-in-the-cyprus-talks-after-a-long-time\/"},"modified":"2015-12-17T12:46:00","modified_gmt":"2015-12-17T10:46:00","slug":"bozkir-a-solution-is-approached-in-the-cyprus-talks-after-a-long-time","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/en\/bozkir-a-solution-is-approached-in-the-cyprus-talks-after-a-long-time\/","title":{"rendered":"Bozk\u0131r: \u201cA solution is approached in the Cyprus talks after a long time\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"\" style=\"text-align: justify;\" align=\"center\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Underlining that a solution is approached in <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">the <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">Cyprus talks after a long time, Turkish EU Minister and<\/span> <span lang=\"EN-US\">Chief Negotiator Volkan Bozk\u0131r said that the national income difference between the parties in the island was effective in the rejection of the Annan Plan in 2004 by the Greek Cypriots in the referendum.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Stating that the then Greek Cypriot leader used the slogan \u2018not to share the wealth of the south with the north\u2019 Bozk\u0131r said that the mentioned difference is almost closed now.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Bozk\u0131r also pointed out that the leaders on the island<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\"> have<\/span> <span lang=\"EN-US\">managed to destroy many taboos by taking important steps and he added that the will of the leaders<\/span> <span lang=\"EN-US\">towards the solution is very important.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Bozk\u0131r concluded his speech by saying: \u201cI certainly believe that the Cyprus problem can be solved.
