{"id":139530,"date":"2016-02-09T11:00:36","date_gmt":"2016-02-09T09:00:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/akinci-all-kinds-of-behaviour-that-can-harm-the-negotiation-process-should-be-avoided\/"},"modified":"2016-02-09T11:00:36","modified_gmt":"2016-02-09T09:00:36","slug":"akinci-all-kinds-of-behaviour-that-can-harm-the-negotiation-process-should-be-avoided","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/en\/akinci-all-kinds-of-behaviour-that-can-harm-the-negotiation-process-should-be-avoided\/","title":{"rendered":"Ak\u0131nc\u0131: \u201cAll kinds of behaviour that can harm the negotiation process should be avoided\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">President Mustafa Ak\u0131nc\u0131 stated that positive developments have been reached in the Cyprus negotiation process and all kinds of behaviour that can harm this positive momentum should be avoided.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Noting that people should be careful while making statements on the Cyprus issue, Ak\u0131nc\u0131 said that the leaders have the freedom to explain their own positions, but a joint statement can be done only with the consent of both parties and should be done together.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Responding the questions of the TAK reporter, Ak\u0131nc\u0131 said that Anastasiades mentioned the issues that the two sides said &#8220;we agreed&#8221;, and he added that this only reflects Anastasiades\u2019 personal ideas and the &#8220;consensus points&#8221; could be explained only together with both sides.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Stating that a confederation which consists of two separate sovereign states has never been on the table, Ak\u0131nc\u0131 said that what has been discussed in the inter-communal talks is a federal Cyprus without domination which is based on political equality, and he stressed that there is no hesitation about it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mentioning the statements of Anastasiades regarding not to accept the rotating presidency, Ak\u0131nc\u0131 said, \u201cUnfortunately, this attitude of the Greek Cypriot side is a serious disappointment for us.
