{"id":139632,"date":"2016-03-01T10:00:34","date_gmt":"2016-03-01T08:00:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/eroglu-turkeys-full-and-effective-guarantee-cannot-be-compromised\/"},"modified":"2016-03-01T10:00:34","modified_gmt":"2016-03-01T08:00:34","slug":"eroglu-turkeys-full-and-effective-guarantee-cannot-be-compromised","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/en\/eroglu-turkeys-full-and-effective-guarantee-cannot-be-compromised\/","title":{"rendered":"Ero\u011flu: \u201cTurkey&#8217;s full and effective guarantee cannot be compromised\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Responding to the questions of Milliyet newspaper regarding the Cyprus negotiations and the TRNC, the 3<sup>rd<\/sup>\u00a0President Dervi\u015f Ero\u011flu emphasized that \u201cfull and effective guarantee of Turkey and its intervention right when required cannot be compromised.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ero\u011flu stressed that, every mistake to be made is important but taking a step back from the full and effective guarantee of Turkey will be a suicide for the Turkish Cypriot people.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ero\u011flu replied to the question regarding the statements of the Greek Cypriot leader Nikos Anastasiades as follows:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cAccording to me Anastasiades&#8217; comments are not well intentioned.\u00a0His statements do not reflect the realities in Cyprus and are not towards a future full of security, welfare and peace. Anastasiades gets his own way about hydrocarbon resources, he is developing new relations, improving these relations and making agreements, but there is no one to show any reaction. He does not accept the rotating presidency. He wants to get what he wants related to the property and the territory issues by taking benefit of our side\u2019s not being able to establish a good team. He tries to disrupt the bi-zonality but there is no one to stop him.
