While the Turkish Prime Minister Davuto\u011flu said: \u201cWe are so close to the solution of the Cyprus problem and the Aegean problems\u201d, Greek Prime Minister Aleksis \u00c7ipras said: \u201cWe agree on a permanent solution.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Both Prime Ministers made statements regarding the Cyprus issue at the joint press conference. Stating that they discussed the Aegean and Cyprus problems honestly and friendly, Davuto\u011flu said: \u201cWe are so close to the solution of the Aegean problems and the Cyprus problem. The Eastern Mediterranean and the Aegean can be the centre of attraction by showing strong will together in order to overcome the lasting problems\u201d. Davuto\u011flu also added that they want the Eastern Mediterranean not being mentioned as the region with crisis, in contrary to be mentioned as the region of welfare and peace with the cooperation of Turkey and Greece, joint working culture and the common future perspective.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On the other hand Greek Prime Minister Aleksis \u00c7ipras stated that they agree that the problem should be solved in a fair and permanent way on the basis of the UN resolutions within the framework of the EU.
