We support the efforts in this regard and we are pleased with the progress which has been made.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">NATO General Secretary said that &#8220;it would be wrong to make guesses for an agreement&#8221; but stressed that &#8220;there are encouraging signs&#8221;.He noted that &#8220;progress has been made&#8221; and welcomed the efforts by the UN. He added, \u201cwe support to end a conflict which exists many decades now.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker expressed Thursday optimism that soon a solution to the Cyprus problem will be reached.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Juncker said he recently saw the two negotiators and he is optimistic.
