{"id":139768,"date":"2016-04-08T09:59:31","date_gmt":"2016-04-08T06:59:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/akinci-returned-to-the-island\/"},"modified":"2016-04-08T09:59:31","modified_gmt":"2016-04-08T06:59:31","slug":"akinci-returned-to-the-island","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/en\/akinci-returned-to-the-island\/","title":{"rendered":"Ak\u0131nc\u0131 returned to the island"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">President Mustafa Ak\u0131nc\u0131, who returned to the island following his participation in the 19th Eurasian Economic Summit in \u0130stanbul, stated that terrorism and the refugee crisis were discussed at the summit and also a panel was held regarding the involuntary migration and he added that he was one of the speakers at the panel.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mentioning that the Eurasian geography is very important, Ak\u0131nc\u0131 said that Turkey is one of the important countries that plays an important role in this geography.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Stating that the summit was fruitful on behalf of the Turkish Cypriot people and the country, Ak\u0131nc\u0131 added that:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cBeing in \u0130stanbul and making various contacts was definitely fruitful on behalf of the Turkish Cypriot people and the country. In this context, we had a chance to meet with the 11th President of Turkey Abdullah G\u00fcl and the Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Responsible for Cyprus Affairs Tu\u011frul T\u00fcrke\u015f and to discuss the latest developments in the Cyprus issue. Now there&#8217;s another process that is waiting for us.
