{"id":140007,"date":"2016-06-23T13:59:12","date_gmt":"2016-06-23T10:59:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/lakkotripis-has-talked-about-the-3rd-round-license-tender\/"},"modified":"2016-06-23T13:59:12","modified_gmt":"2016-06-23T10:59:12","slug":"lakkotripis-has-talked-about-the-3rd-round-license-tender","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/en\/lakkotripis-has-talked-about-the-3rd-round-license-tender\/","title":{"rendered":"Lakkotripis has talked about the 3rd round license tender"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Greek Cypriot Energy Minister Yorgos Lakkotripis has announced that within the framework of the 3rd round license tender for the 6<sup>th<\/sup>, 8<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0and 10<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0parcels in so-called \u201cExclusive Economic Zone (MEB)\u201d, interested companies are expected to hand in their proposals to the Greek Cypriot Administration by 22 July 2016.<\/p>\n<p>The Greek Cypriot Haravgi newspaper reported that Lakkotripis met with the new members of the Greek Cypriot Parliament Energy Committee. It was reported that the parties have decided to arrange a new meeting behind the closed doors where hydrocarbons and especially the &#8220;Aphrodite&#8221; issue will be discussed.<\/p>\n<p>The newspaper also reported that a briefing will be made about Shell, the company which is the new player of the partnership in Aphrodite&#8217;s gas field. \u00a0\u0130t was also reported that Shell is already in communication with the Energy Ministry and views have been exchanged.
