{"id":140043,"date":"2016-07-13T12:30:12","date_gmt":"2016-07-13T09:30:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/kucuk-pasakoy-village-will-be-excavated\/"},"modified":"2016-07-13T12:30:12","modified_gmt":"2016-07-13T09:30:12","slug":"kucuk-pasakoy-village-will-be-excavated","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/en\/kucuk-pasakoy-village-will-be-excavated\/","title":{"rendered":"K\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck: \u201cPa\u015fak\u00f6y village will be excavated\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Turkish Cypriot member of the Committee on Missing Persons, G\u00fclden Pl\u00fcmer K\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck, has stated that investigations continue\u00a0to have support from both sides and are taking place in accordance with scientific best practice.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In a written statement, K\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck\u00a0reiterated that Pa\u015fak\u00f6y village has been included in the excavation plan, and that a consensus has been reached\u00a0regarding the use of archives, and affirmed that all missing persons are on the island.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u201cRecently, there has been a need to inform the public correctly about our work due to some inaccurate news regarding the Missing Persons Committee and its members\u201d K\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck noted.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cAll missing persons that the committee seeks are on the island.\u00a0 In 1974, the prisoners of war who were taken to the Republic of Turkey were registered by the Red Cross in accordance with international law and all of them returned to the island.
