This move came after the continual calls and efforts from the TRNC Presidential and Foreign Ministry officials.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In his ceremonial message, Prime Minister H\u00fcseyin \u00d6zg\u00fcrg\u00fcn stated that the Erenk\u00f6y Resistance demonstrates that the Turkish Cypriot people will never give up and will always seek to protect their homeland, even in the face of extreme adversity. He further said that \u201cWe will exist on this land forever, with the strength and support from our Motherland, and will continue to move forward for the welfare and happiness of our people.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The TRNC former President Ero\u011flu stated that \u201cA legend was born in Erenk\u00f6y. Turkish Cypriots resisted in dire circumstances in every way possible.
