{"id":140231,"date":"2016-10-10T11:01:57","date_gmt":"2016-10-10T08:01:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/akinci-we-are-not-searching-for-an-interim-agreement\/"},"modified":"2016-10-10T11:01:57","modified_gmt":"2016-10-10T08:01:57","slug":"akinci-we-are-not-searching-for-an-interim-agreement","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/en\/akinci-we-are-not-searching-for-an-interim-agreement\/","title":{"rendered":"Ak\u0131nc\u0131: \u201cWe are not searching for an interim agreement\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">President Mustafa Ak\u0131nc\u0131 stated that Turkish Cypriot side is not searching for an interim agreement to the Cyprus problem.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In his statement to the press following the Leaders\u2019 meeting, President Ak\u0131nc\u0131 stressed that both sides had discussed the issue of federal powers. He added that the negotiators would come together on Monday and Wednesday to discuss in more detail the issues taken up during the last three meetings.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">President Ak\u0131nc\u0131 said that the negotiations would continue as previously scheduled, with the next meeting to be held on the 13 October.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In response to an interim agreement which has appeared in Greek Cypriot newspapers, President Ak\u0131nc\u0131 said that \u201cthere is no desire or intention to sign an interim agreement.
