Some areas of this process were finalised at yesterday\u2019s meeting.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">President Ak\u0131nc\u0131 also said that during his meeting with Victoria Nuland, the US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, he outlined the reasons for the Turkish Cypriot people\u2019s concerns about security.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cWe explained to Nuland the reasons why Turkish Cypriots have had concerns about security for all these years. Why do the Turkish Cypriots not want any future federation to be put at risk? What guarantees are there for us to keep this federation safe? \u00a0Are there reasonable grounds for this?
