{"id":140275,"date":"2016-11-07T11:40:20","date_gmt":"2016-11-07T08:40:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/greek-cypriot-football-federation-to-punish-those-who-travel-from-ercan-airport\/"},"modified":"2016-11-07T11:40:20","modified_gmt":"2016-11-07T08:40:20","slug":"greek-cypriot-football-federation-to-punish-those-who-travel-from-ercan-airport","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/en\/greek-cypriot-football-federation-to-punish-those-who-travel-from-ercan-airport\/","title":{"rendered":"Greek Cypriot Football Federation to punish those who travel from Ercan Airport"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Greek Cypriot Football Federation (KOP) has threatened to severely punish those travelling from Ercan Airport.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to the Greek Cypriot Alithia newspaper, the KOP Executive Board announced that members of the federation who travel from Ercan Airport, either in groups or individually, will be fined ten thousand Euros for the first time, and that in the event of recurrence, their membership will be terminated.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to the report, the decision was taken after the memorandum dated July 31, 2014 was sent to all federations and the Greek Cypriot Olympic Committee (KOE) by the Greek Cypriot Sports Federation (KOA).
