During the meeting, Eide informed Denkta\u015f of the latest developments in Mont Pelerin and they exchanged views.<\/p>\n
In his statement to BRT following the meeting with Eide, Denkta\u015f noted that the negotiations up until now have not been very positive and that steps have been taken to find a way to continue the negotiations. He added, \u201cOur position, which we made clear to Mr. Eide, is that this process should not be extended in an open-ended way and the date of the five-party conference must be determined as soon as possible during this year. The two leaders need to meet again and reach a result. We are not able to wait in an uncertain environment any more.
