{"id":140431,"date":"2017-01-13T12:50:13","date_gmt":"2017-01-13T09:50:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/akinci-a-solution-alone-is-not-enough\/"},"modified":"2017-01-13T12:50:13","modified_gmt":"2017-01-13T09:50:13","slug":"akinci-a-solution-alone-is-not-enough","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/en\/akinci-a-solution-alone-is-not-enough\/","title":{"rendered":"Ak\u0131nc\u0131: \u201cA solution alone is not enough\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>President Mustafa Ak\u0131nc\u0131 stated yesterday that a solution alone will not be enough, and that an international collective effort will be needed to meet the cost of the resolution of the Cyprus problem.<\/p>\n<p>In his speech at the opening of the International Cyprus Conference in Geneva, Ak\u0131nc\u0131 acknowledged that the Conference may not produce an immediate result, but reiterated there is not much time to reach the important and desired outcome.<\/p>\n<p>Stressing that negotiations under the auspices of UN have been continuing for 49 years but that the Cyprus problem has been continuing for 54 years, Ak\u0131nc\u0131 added, \u201cWe do not have the luxury of time anymore. But I do not think that failure is an option.
