He called on the leader to take an executive decision and put this into force as the head of the executive power.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe response so far by the Greek Cypriot leader is not aimed at supporting peace talks, but instead focussed on the forthcoming presidential elections in the south.\u201d Burcu continued. He added that they are still waiting for the Greek Cypriot administration to take concrete steps on this issue.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Burcu also stated that reactions to this decision in the south of Cyprus are also on the rise.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018\u2018This issue here is not simply the disagreement between Ak\u0131nc\u0131 and Anastasiades, but the serious damage it is causing between the populations on both sides of Cyprus\u201d said Burcu.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhile the negotiations continue, the impact of such a decision by the Greek Cypriot parliament cannot be underestimated\u201d said Burcu.
