North Cyprus is being represented at ITB Berlin tourism fair, known as the world\u2019s largest tourism fair.
\nThe opening ceremony of the fair was held yesterday, and the showcase will be open to visitors until the 12th of March. North Cyprus is being presented at the fair using a stand designed using the concept of \u201ca Cyprus house\u201d.
\nTraditional foods will be handed out to visitors at the stand, served by people in traditional folk dress.
\nOn the first day of the ITB Berlin Fair, Turkish Cypriot Foreign Minister Mevl\u00fct \u00c7avu\u015fo\u011flu, Minister of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey, H\u00fcseyin Yayman visited the TRNC stand, accompanied by a number of officials and tourism professionals
\n, \u00c7avu\u015fo\u011flu said that he found the North Cyprus stand very successful, and that the success of the project proves that Turkish Cypriots are prepared for a solution, even under international isolation.
\n“Both sides should be ready for a solution,” said \u00c7avu\u015fo\u011flu. He also noted that the Greek Cypriot side has not given up its dream for Enosis, and that the embargoes against the TRNC must be lifted as soon as possible.
\n\u00c7avu\u015fo\u011flu also indicated that they were making efforts together with the TRNC government and the Ministry of Tourism to promote the TRNC to visitors.
