Foreign Minister Tahsin Ertu\u011frulo\u011flu \u00a0responded strongly to the scandal that arose due to the cancellation of Turkish Foreign Minister Mevl\u00fct \u00c7avu\u015fo\u011flu and \u00a0Minister of Family and Social Policies Fatma Bet\u00fcl Sayan Kaya\u2019s permit to fly to the Netherlands, barring them from entering the Rotterdam consulate, and leading to them being escorted out of the country.<\/p>\n
Interpreting the developments as resurgence of right wing mentality, Minister Ertu\u011frulo\u011flu said, \u201cThe attitude of the Netherlands, which does not comply with the diplomatic norms, cannot be acceptable especially with regards to the treatment of a female minister.\u201d<\/p>\n
Responding a question about whether the tension between Turkey and some European countries affects the negotiation process in Cyprus, Ertu\u011frulo\u011flu said, \u201ctension with EU countries will not affect us, because the negotiation process is already over.
