Foreign Minister Tahsin Ertu\u011frulo\u011flu met with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevl\u00fct \u00c7avu\u015fo\u011flu who was in the TRNC to hold official meetings.<\/p>\n
The Cyprus negotiation process and the cooperation and collaboration between the two ministries was discussed at the meeting, which was held at the Foreign Ministry.<\/p>\n
Foreign Minister Ertu\u011frulo\u011flu welcomed Cavusoglu at the entrance of the ministry.<\/p>\n
The two ministers held a bilateral meeting following the meeting between the two MFA delegations.<\/p>\n
Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mustafa Lakadamyal\u0131, General Director Kemal K\u00f6pr\u00fcl\u00fc and other ministry directors accompanied Ertu\u011frulo\u011flu during the meeting between the delegations. The Turkish Ambassador to Lefko\u015fa Derya Kanbay and Turkish Foreign Ministry officials were also present at the meeting.<\/p>\n
In the press statement before the meeting, Foreign Minister Tahsin Ertu\u011frulo\u011flu pointed out that all the opinions on the Cyprus negotiation process were presented at the meeting held at the Presidency with the participation of the government officials and political party leaders, and added that the necessary updates had also been given at the joint press conference of President Ak\u0131nc\u0131 and Minister \u00c7avu\u015fo\u011flu.<\/p>\n
Stating that the two Foreign Ministers discussed the bilateral issues between the Turkish and TRNC foreign ministries, Ertu\u011frulo\u011flu emphasised that he was extremely pleased to host Minister \u00c7avu\u015fo\u011flu.<\/p>\n
Turkish Foreign Minister \u00c7avu\u015fo\u011flu said that the meeting to discuss the current state of the Cyprus negotiations at\u00a0the Presidency had been constructive and useful.<\/p>\n
Stating that a road map had been\u00a0 set for the future by Turkey and Turkish Cypriot side, which\u00a0 would be useful for the rights and interests of the Turkish Cypriot people, \u00c7avu\u015fo\u011flu also emphasized the close cooperation with Ertu\u011frulo\u011flu on a joint Ministerial level . Pointing out the value of the collaboration between the two foreign ministries, \u00c7avu\u015fo\u011flu said that they will continue to work for the TRNC\u2019s visibility and effectiveness in the international arena, including increasing the number of representative offices of the TRNC both in Turkey and overseas, for the improvement of the foreign representative offices and for the recognition of the TRNC passport in more countries.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
