{"id":140976,"date":"2017-09-26T12:37:03","date_gmt":"2017-09-26T09:37:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/zihni-turksel-deemed-worthy-of-a-first-place-cup\/"},"modified":"2017-09-26T12:37:03","modified_gmt":"2017-09-26T09:37:03","slug":"zihni-turksel-deemed-worthy-of-a-first-place-cup","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/en\/zihni-turksel-deemed-worthy-of-a-first-place-cup\/","title":{"rendered":"Zihni T\u00fcrksel deemed worthy of a first place cup"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A Member of &#8220;World Association of Chefs&#8217; Societies&#8221; Zihni T\u00fcrksel became number one in the world with pastes and marmalades in Turkish Cypriot local cuisine such as orange, bergamot, hawthorn marmaldes and almond paste in the competition held in Azerbaijan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">T\u00fcrksel received the prize in the category of &#8216;best paste and marmalade\u2019.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Zihni T\u00fcrksel, who is a lecturer at the Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management, Department of Gastronomy at European University of Lefke, won the gold medal and first prize cup in the competition among 22 international and 55 regional competitors.
