{"id":141001,"date":"2017-10-06T11:47:26","date_gmt":"2017-10-06T08:47:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/muftuoglu-greek-cypriot-administrations-un-letter-has-no-validity-with-regards-to-turkey\/"},"modified":"2017-10-06T11:47:26","modified_gmt":"2017-10-06T08:47:26","slug":"muftuoglu-greek-cypriot-administrations-un-letter-has-no-validity-with-regards-to-turkey","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/en\/muftuoglu-greek-cypriot-administrations-un-letter-has-no-validity-with-regards-to-turkey\/","title":{"rendered":"M\u00fcft\u00fco\u011flu: Greek Cypriot administration\u2019s UN letter has \u201cno validity with regards to Turkey&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ambassador H\u00fcseyin M\u00fcft\u00fco\u011flu, the spokesman of the Turkish Foreign Ministry, stated that the TRNC authorities would give the necessary response to the Greek Cypriot government&#8217;s letter to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, which \u2013 according to M\u00fcft\u00fco\u011flu \u2013 has no validity with regards to Turkey.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In his written statement, M\u00fcft\u00fco\u011flu stated that the Greek Cypriot representative in New York had issued a letter to the UN Secretary-General on 3 October which has been published as UN Security Council document &#8220;S \/ 2017\/831&#8221;:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cIt is well known that we do not recognise the Greek Cypriot administration therefore the aforementioned letter has no importance or validity with regards to our country.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The unfounded claims in the letter are not worthy of attention.
