{"id":141069,"date":"2017-11-20T12:53:21","date_gmt":"2017-11-20T09:53:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/foreign-minister-ertugruloglu-issues-critical-statement-regarding-hostile-incident-during-nato-trident-javelin-exercise\/"},"modified":"2017-11-20T12:53:21","modified_gmt":"2017-11-20T09:53:21","slug":"foreign-minister-ertugruloglu-issues-critical-statement-regarding-hostile-incident-during-nato-trident-javelin-exercise","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/en\/foreign-minister-ertugruloglu-issues-critical-statement-regarding-hostile-incident-during-nato-trident-javelin-exercise\/","title":{"rendered":"Foreign Minister Ertu\u011frulo\u011flu issues critical statement regarding hostile incident during NATO \u2018Trident Javelin\u2019 Exercise"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Foreign Minister Tahsin Ertu\u011frulo\u011flu has issued a formal statement criticising the hostility displayed towards Atat\u00fcrk and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdo\u011fan in the NATO Exercise Trident Javelin 2017 (TRJN17), which was held in the NATO Joint Warfare Centre in Norway between the dates of 8-17 November 2017.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ertu\u011frulo\u011flu&#8217;s statement is as follows:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cWe strongly protest that the photograph of the Founder Leader of the Republic of Turkey, Mustafa Kemal Atat\u00fcrk, was shown among the leaders of hostile countries, as well as the implication, by using Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan\u2019s name that he is cooperating with hostile countries over a fake address at the &#8220;Trident Javelin 2017&#8221; exercise. We emphasize that this incident, which constitutes a scandal, is neither compliant with the behaviour of an ally, nor with the reasonable norms of friendship and humanity.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cWe regard this issue as an insult to the Turkish nation that we are an inseparable part of it.
