Depreli\u2019s remains were found and identified during excavation works by the Committee on Missing Persons (CMP).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Depreli was killed and taken away from his home in K\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck Kaymakl\u0131 by a group of Greek Cypriots on 26 December 1963. His\u00a0body was protected in the Lefko\u015fa General Hospital\u2019s morgue, and then buried in mass graves at Ayvas\u0131l. He was later moved and buried in Tekke Garden, in an unmarked grave.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00d6mer Hasan Depreli\u2019s remains were recently found by the CMP in the Tekke Garden, and were identified with DNA tests.
