{"id":141356,"date":"2018-07-25T11:29:50","date_gmt":"2018-07-25T08:29:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/ataoglu-uncompromising-stance-of-the-greek-cypriots-is-not-accepted-by-the-world\/"},"modified":"2018-07-25T11:29:50","modified_gmt":"2018-07-25T08:29:50","slug":"ataoglu-uncompromising-stance-of-the-greek-cypriots-is-not-accepted-by-the-world","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/en\/ataoglu-uncompromising-stance-of-the-greek-cypriots-is-not-accepted-by-the-world\/","title":{"rendered":"Atao\u011flu: \u201cUncompromising stance of the Greek Cypriots is not accepted by the world\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Criticising the stance of the Greek Cypriot Energy and Tourism Ministry which conducted an investigation regarding Dr.Ahmet Sava\u015fan\u2019s appointment as Vice-President of the Global Healthcare Travel Council (GHTC) and for pressuring Greek members of the council into resigning, Minister of Tourism and Environment Fikri Atao\u011flu said that the Greek Cypriots continue their uncompromising stance as usual.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Atao\u011flu expressed that EDEK Member of Parliament Kostis Efstathiou asked in his speech at Greek Cypriot House of Representatives how a Turkish Cypriot being elected \u201cillegally\u201d as Vice President of the GHTC without objection of Greek representatives and said that the issue is being investigated by Greek Cypriot Energy and Tourism Ministry.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Stating that Dr. Ahmet Sava\u015fan was unanimously chosen to this position and 57 countries accepted this, Minister Atao\u011flu reminded that previously the Greek-Greek Cypriot duo had lobbied against North Cyprus and had prevented them from taking place on international platforms.
