{"id":141443,"date":"2018-10-10T13:01:37","date_gmt":"2018-10-10T10:01:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/akinci-i-wish-to-meet-with-anastasiades-after-15-october\/"},"modified":"2018-10-10T13:01:37","modified_gmt":"2018-10-10T10:01:37","slug":"akinci-i-wish-to-meet-with-anastasiades-after-15-october","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/en\/akinci-i-wish-to-meet-with-anastasiades-after-15-october\/","title":{"rendered":"Ak\u0131nc\u0131: \u201cI wish to meet with Anastasiades after 15 October\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">President Mustafa Ak\u0131nc\u0131 stated that he wishes to meet with Greek Cypriot Leader Nikos Anastasiades after 15 October when the Cyprus report will be submitted to the UN General Council.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ak\u0131nc\u0131 received the leaders of the TRNC coalition government yesterday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In his statement to the press following the meeting, Ak\u0131nc\u0131 said that he also met with the UN Secretary General\u2019s Special Representative to Cyprus, Elizabeth Spehar, and they discussed the opening of Derinya and Apl\u0131\u00e7 gates as soon as possible.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Furthermore, in his statement to the press, Prime Minister Tufan Erh\u00fcrman said that in recent days, the Greek Cypriot side stresses a \u2018loose\u2019 or decentralised federation, which has been a long-standing belief held by Anastasiades but today, a strong wing federation model has been on the agenda.
