{"id":141454,"date":"2018-10-17T12:22:47","date_gmt":"2018-10-17T09:22:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/akinci-evaluates-guterres-report\/"},"modified":"2018-10-17T12:22:47","modified_gmt":"2018-10-17T09:22:47","slug":"akinci-evaluates-guterres-report","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/en\/akinci-evaluates-guterres-report\/","title":{"rendered":"Ak\u0131nc\u0131 evaluates Guterres report"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">President Mustafa Ak\u0131nc\u0131 stated that he will be glad to listen if Anastasiades has any new opinions at the meeting which he hopes may be\u00a0held\u00a0soon but added that if the solution is a federal partnership state, the active participation of the parties will be unavoidable in the jointly used authorities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">In his statement yesterday, Ak\u0131nc\u0131 shared his views concerning the report on Cyprus which has been delivered to the Security Council by the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Stating that he discussed the report in detail with the negotiating team, Ak\u0131nc\u0131 said: \u201cThe Secretary-General said in his report that the status quo in Cyprus is not sustainable and that a permanent solution is needed.
