{"id":141560,"date":"2018-12-03T12:20:38","date_gmt":"2018-12-03T09:20:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/ozersay-choices-are-clear-for-a-partnership-state\/"},"modified":"2018-12-03T12:20:38","modified_gmt":"2018-12-03T09:20:38","slug":"ozersay-choices-are-clear-for-a-partnership-state","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/en\/ozersay-choices-are-clear-for-a-partnership-state\/","title":{"rendered":"\u00d6zersay: \u201cChoices are clear for a partnership state\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Kudret \u00d6zersay stressed that if a partnership state is to be established, the choices are clear.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In his statement to the Turkish News Agency (TAK) on the issue of the Cyprus problem, \u00d6zersay said that if a partnership state is to be established, the Greek Cypriot Administration has to change its mentality towards sharing administration and wealth, and negotiations should continue as not open ended, or a solution model based on cooperation should be negotiated as a not open ended process. \u201cI do not see a change in the mentality of the Greek Cypriot side towards sharing\u201d \u00d6zersay added.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As long as the mentality of the Greek Cypriot Administration does not change, our insistence on negotiating on the federal basis will take us to a continuation of the status quo and new disappointment as well.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A Federation needs an understanding and mentality based on sharing.
