{"id":141636,"date":"2019-01-25T10:58:25","date_gmt":"2019-01-25T07:58:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/cavusoglu-in-the-trnc-2\/"},"modified":"2019-01-25T10:58:25","modified_gmt":"2019-01-25T07:58:25","slug":"cavusoglu-in-the-trnc-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/en\/cavusoglu-in-the-trnc-2\/","title":{"rendered":"\u00c7avu\u015fo\u011flu in the TRNC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Turkish Foreign Minister Mevl\u00fct \u00c7avu\u015fo\u011flu came to the TRNC yesterday evening (24<sup>th<\/sup> January) for an official visit.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c7avu\u015fo\u011flu was welcomed by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Kudret \u00d6zersay, Turkish Ambassador to Lefko\u015fa Ali Murat Ba\u015f\u00e7eri and other officials at Ercan Airport.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c7avu\u015fo\u011flu will start his contacts with an honorary doctorate ceremony to be held at Girne American University (GAU) this morning (25<sup>th<\/sup> January). He will be awarded the title of Honorary Doctorate by GAU at the ceremony.<\/p>\n<p>Following this, President Mustafa Ak\u0131nc\u0131 will receive \u00c7avu\u015fo\u011flu. After a tete-a-tete meeting, a further meeting will be held with the participation of the political party leaders represented in the TRNC Assembly hosted by President Ak\u0131nc\u0131.
