The status quo is the main factor which keeps the Turkish Cypriots out of the international law and results in our youngsters living in uncertainty for the future. Turkish Cypriot existence and identity are being eroded as the years pass and they face the risk of not being the subject in their own country. On the other hand the \u2018Republic of Cyprus\u2019, from which they have been excluded, is in the ownership of only the Greek Cypriot community and unjustly benefiting from being included in the UN and the EU with its internationally recognised identity.
