President Mustafa Ak\u0131nc\u0131 stated that the Greek Cypriot side has confirmed themselves that although there is a clear stance by the Turkish Cypriot side, the Greek Cypriot side is not ready for a solution on the basis of political equality within the framework of the UN parameters.<\/p>\n
President Ak\u0131nc\u0131 made a statement regarding the report to be submitted by the UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres to the UN Security Council. Ak\u0131nc\u0131 stressed that both sides\u2019 attitude for a solution within the UN parameters and the terms of reference which has been tried to be prepared with this aim should be included in a clear and objective way in the report of the UN Secretary General Guterres.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, expressing that the efforts for a solution to be reached in Cyprus should not start from the beginning and the process for a solution should be result oriented based on a calendar, Ak\u0131nc\u0131 added that the decisive and sincere attitude of the Turkish Cypriot side to reach peace in Cyprus should not be disregarded any more.
