{"id":141754,"date":"2019-04-18T11:56:23","date_gmt":"2019-04-18T08:56:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/ozersay-un-accepts-that-there-is-not-any-ground-for-negotiations\/"},"modified":"2019-04-18T11:56:23","modified_gmt":"2019-04-18T08:56:23","slug":"ozersay-un-accepts-that-there-is-not-any-ground-for-negotiations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/en\/ozersay-un-accepts-that-there-is-not-any-ground-for-negotiations\/","title":{"rendered":"\u00d6zersay: &#8220;UN accepts that there is not any ground for negotiations&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Kudret \u00d6zersay evaluated the new Cyprus report submitted to the UN Security Council by the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.<\/p>\n<p>\u00d6zersay made a statement through the social media and pointed out that the submitted report is still a preliminary draft and added that it is not sensible to make any statements at this stage about the report. \u00d6zersay also underlined that the draft report could have been more realistic and added that it is accepted in the report in a fairly cautious manner that there is not any ground to begin a negotiation process. It is also said in the report that if the sides could not begin the negotiations at least they can continue to have consultations.<\/p>\n<p>\u00d6zersay stated that being afraid of offending one of the sides by speaking the truth, the UN once again seems to forget to be fair with the concern to treat both sides equally.
