{"id":141759,"date":"2019-04-24T11:48:48","date_gmt":"2019-04-24T08:48:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/akinci-evaluates-guterres-report-2\/"},"modified":"2019-04-24T11:48:48","modified_gmt":"2019-04-24T08:48:48","slug":"akinci-evaluates-guterres-report-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/en\/akinci-evaluates-guterres-report-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Ak\u0131nc\u0131 evaluates Guterres Report"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">President Mustafa Ak\u0131nc\u0131 evaluated the UN Secretary General&#8217;s recent UN report submitted to the UN Security Council yesterday (23<sup>rd<\/sup> April) on the Cyprus issue.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In his written statement evaluating the report of the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres covering the period of 6<sup>th<\/sup> October 2018 to 10<sup>th<\/sup> April 2019, Akinci pointed out that the EU harmonization studies of the Turkish Cypriot institutions ceased with the blocking by the Greek side after the Crans-Montana talks and stated that these issues were also ignored in the report. Ak\u0131nc\u0131 also stated that there was a serious deficiency in the report, not to mention the negativity of the Greek side.
