{"id":141835,"date":"2019-06-28T11:18:08","date_gmt":"2019-06-28T08:18:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/ozersays-reply-to-galanos-refrain-from-prejudiced-statements\/"},"modified":"2019-06-28T11:18:08","modified_gmt":"2019-06-28T08:18:08","slug":"ozersays-reply-to-galanos-refrain-from-prejudiced-statements","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/en\/ozersays-reply-to-galanos-refrain-from-prejudiced-statements\/","title":{"rendered":"\u00d6zersay\u2019s reply to Galanos : &#8220;Refrain from prejudiced statements\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Regarding the Mara\u015f decision of the government, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Kudret \u00d6zersay indicated that they will take steps which will not harm the property rights of previous residents of the closed Mara\u015f.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In his statement from his social media account \u00d6zersay replied to statements of the so called Greek Cypriot Mayor of Mara\u015f, Aleksis Galanos, and called upon him to \u201crefrain from prejudiced statements\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;With our statement we made it clear that we will take steps which will not harm the property rights of previous residents of the closed Mara\u015f\u201d \u00d6zersay said and indicated that they see the previous residents of Mara\u015f as being some of the stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In his statement Kudret \u00d6zersay also said: \u201cthere is no need to be anxious about the inventory work which will clarify the current situation and help everyone to understand the present data.
