{"id":141901,"date":"2019-07-29T11:33:19","date_gmt":"2019-07-29T08:33:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/message-of-congratulations-from-akinci-to-johnson\/"},"modified":"2019-07-29T11:33:19","modified_gmt":"2019-07-29T08:33:19","slug":"message-of-congratulations-from-akinci-to-johnson","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/en\/message-of-congratulations-from-akinci-to-johnson\/","title":{"rendered":"Message of congratulations from Ak\u0131nc\u0131 to Johnson"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">President Mustafa Ak\u0131nc\u0131 sent a message of congratulations to the new Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Boris Johnson, and wished him success in his new term of office.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Furthermore, Ak\u0131nc\u0131 said he appreciated Johnson for his sincere contribution for a comprehensive solution to the Cyprus problem at the conferences held in Geneva and Crans Montana when he was Foreign Minister and expressed that they wish to continue cooperation for a solution in Cyprus during his new term of office as Prime Minister. Moreover, Ak\u0131nc\u0131 wished improvement of relations among the British people and the Turkish Cypriot people during the Prime Ministry of Johnson.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to the statement of the Presidency, President Ak\u0131nc\u0131 congratulated Charles Michel who has been elected as the new President of the European Council, Ursula von der Leyen, the President of the European Commission and David Maria Sassoli, the President of the European Parliament.
