He further pointed out that the Greek Cypriot Administration and Greece, who persisted in missing every opportunity for a solution in Cyprus, do not have a say in the issue of the closed Mara\u015f.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00d6zersay regarded the Greek Prime Minister Mytsotakis\u2019 statement regarding Greece\u2019s primary foreign policy goal of terminating the so-called Turkish invasion of Cyprus as outdated and archaic. Recalling that the existence of Turkish soldiers is a result of Greece\u2019s coup d\u2019\u00e9tat attempt in Cyprus, \u00d6zersay also said it should never be forgotten that the Turkish soldiers are in the island as a result of a military intervention aimed to terminate an invasion caused by the violation of\u00a0 the constitution and the treaty.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Indicating that the existence of the Turkish soldiers in Cyprus aims to terminate Greece\u2019s invasion of Cyprus \u00d6zersay said, \u201cIf Mytsotakis is looking for an invasion then he should look at the Greek invasion of what he mentions as \u201cRepublic of Cyprus\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00d6zersay further stated:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">If the Greek Prime Minister is looking for an illegal act or an activity in the Eastern Mediterranean region, primarily they should look at the Greek Cypriots\u2019 unilateral activities which violates the rights of the Turkish Cypriots, then they will see what the illegal activities are.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00d6zersay also made statements regarding the closed Mara\u015f. Stating that if Greeks had used the opportunities presented up to now, there would not have been the issue of the closed Mara\u015f today. \u00d6zersay continued: \u201cIf they could have compromised regarding the closed Mara\u015f, we would have set a nice example with respect to the future of Cyprus. Given that we could not achieve any of this, I am of the opinion that they do not have a say in the issue of the Closed Mara\u015f. It is true that the Greek Cypriots, the former residents of the Closed Mara\u015f, are stakeholders.
