{"id":142018,"date":"2019-11-18T13:11:01","date_gmt":"2019-11-18T10:11:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/ankara-condemns-the-burning-of-the-trnc-flag-on-the-greek-cypriot-side\/"},"modified":"2019-11-18T13:11:01","modified_gmt":"2019-11-18T10:11:01","slug":"ankara-condemns-the-burning-of-the-trnc-flag-on-the-greek-cypriot-side","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/en\/ankara-condemns-the-burning-of-the-trnc-flag-on-the-greek-cypriot-side\/","title":{"rendered":"Ankara condemns the burning of the TRNC flag on the Greek Cypriot side"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Turkey has condemned the burning of the TRNC flag on the Greek Cypriot side on the occasion of the 36th anniversary of TRNC\u2019s establishment.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The statement made by the Turkish Foreign Ministry said \u2018We condemn the burning of the TRNC flag on the 36th anniversary of its establishment in the Greek Cypriot side and we give full support to TRNC authorities\u2019 statements regarding this incident.\u2019<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It was reminded in the statement of the Turkish Foreign Ministry that the Greek Cypriot authorities have neither made any statement condemning this act of hatred nor have investigated the perpetrators and this demonstrates that this act has official support.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the statement it was also said \u2018We believe that the Greek Cypriot Administration, as well as the Greek authorities, with their statements provoking hatred towards the Turkish Cypriots, have a responsibility regarding this incident.
