{"id":142065,"date":"2019-12-10T12:11:32","date_gmt":"2019-12-10T09:11:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/tacoy-as-long-as-the-greek-cypriots-violate-our-rights-they-will-hit-a-wall\/"},"modified":"2019-12-10T12:11:32","modified_gmt":"2019-12-10T09:11:32","slug":"tacoy-as-long-as-the-greek-cypriots-violate-our-rights-they-will-hit-a-wall","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/en\/tacoy-as-long-as-the-greek-cypriots-violate-our-rights-they-will-hit-a-wall\/","title":{"rendered":"Ta\u00e7oy: \u201cAs long as the Greek Cypriots violate our rights, they will hit a wall\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Minister of Economy and Energy Hasan Ta\u00e7oy attended the \u201cOIC High Level Public and Private Investment Conference\u201d organised in \u0130stanbul.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In his speech at the conference, Ta\u00e7oy made a call to the Greek Cypriots and all other related countries to accept the equality of the Turkish Cypriots in respect of the natural gas on the island and stressed \u201cAll of the other options are composed of a dream, as long as they violate our rights, they will hit a wall\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Adding that the maritime agreement signed with Libya shows that nothing can be achieved in the Eastern Mediterranean without Turkey, Ta\u00e7oy expressed that the Turkish Cypriot State has a common past and culture with the member countries and as an honourable observer member depends on the principles of OIC.
