{"id":142089,"date":"2019-12-25T13:26:48","date_gmt":"2019-12-25T10:26:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/kumsal-martyrs-commemorated-2\/"},"modified":"2019-12-25T13:26:48","modified_gmt":"2019-12-25T10:26:48","slug":"kumsal-martyrs-commemorated-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/en\/kumsal-martyrs-commemorated-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Kumsal Martyrs commemorated"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Kumsal martyrs who were massacred during the Greek-Greek Cypriot attacks on 24th December 1963 in the Kumsal district of Lefko\u015fa were commemorated at the Museum of Barbarism yesterday.<br \/>\nMajor Nihat \u0130lhan\u2019s wife M\u00fcr\u00fcvvet and their three little sons Kutsi, Murat and Hakan were massacred in the bathtub of their house and granny Feride was also martyred and four persons were seriously injured during the Kumsal attack which is one of the saddest incidents in the Cyprus History.
