{"id":142238,"date":"2020-07-13T10:33:55","date_gmt":"2020-07-13T07:33:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/inonu-martyrs-commemorated\/"},"modified":"2020-07-13T10:33:55","modified_gmt":"2020-07-13T07:33:55","slug":"inonu-martyrs-commemorated","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/en\/inonu-martyrs-commemorated\/","title":{"rendered":"\u0130n\u00f6n\u00fc Martyrs commemorated"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\u0130n\u00f6n\u00fc Martyrs who were killed by Greek Cypriots while they were on their way to Gazi Ma\u011fusa on July 12, 1958 and 11 martyrs who were killed on several other dates, have been commemorated at the \u0130n\u00f6n\u00fc Martyrdom.<\/p>\n<p>Prime Minister Ersin Tatar attended the commemoration ceremony and said that Turkish Cypriots had suffered a great struggle for their freedom and independence, and it shouldn\u2019t be forgotten that the existence struggle of the Turkish Cypriots was extremely difficult.<\/p>\n<p>The Prime Minister also stated that Turkish Cypriots must be aware of the importance of the relationship with the motherland Turkey, the necessity of Turkey\u2019s guarantorship and to continue their struggle to make the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus a prosperous country.
