According to the statement of the Near East University, the \u201cWalled City Museum\u201d will be opened on 15th November Republic Day.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The “Walled City Museum”, which will be free of charge, will be open to visitors starting from Sunday, 15<\/span><\/span>th<\/span><\/span>November at 10:00.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

There are 9 bronze statues of three meters at the entrance of the “Walled City Museum” which will be put into service in the old building of\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Ziraat<\/span><\/span>\u00a0Bank at\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Kyrenia<\/span><\/span>Gate, which was restored with the initiative of the\u00a0<\/span><\/span>G\u00fcnsel<\/span><\/span>\u00a0family.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to the statues symbolising the victory, the art<\/span><\/span>e<\/span><\/span>facts drawn on the ceilings in the museum include the conquest of Cyprus by the Ottoman Empire and also the 20th July 1974 Peace Operation.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

At the Walled City Museum, the works of many award-winning artists, using various techniques about\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Lefko\u015fa<\/span><\/span>and Cyprus, will be presented to the taste of art lovers and everyone interested in culture. In addition, many materials belonging to the social, cultural and political past of\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Lefko\u015fa<\/span><\/span>\u00a0will be\u00a0<\/span><\/span>on display<\/span><\/span>\u00a0in the museum.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
