The Martyrs identified by the studies of the Committee on Missing Persons in Cyprus have been laid to rest at Murata\u011fa \u2013Sandallar Martyrdom.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Emine R\u00fcstem Akansoy was a 36 years old mother and her children were 15 years old Sezin R\u00fcstem Akansoy, 13 years old Mustafa R\u00fcstem Akansoy, 12 years old Erbay R\u00fcstem Akansoy and 8 years old Sibel R\u00fcstem Akansoy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On 20 July 1974 all men of fighting age of the Murata\u011fa, Sandallar and Atl\u0131lar Villages were taken away as prisoners of war by EOKA and on 14 August 1974 when the second peace operation of Turkey to Cyprus started, 126 Turkish Cypriot civilians who were women, children and elderly people in the three villages were massacred.
