The obligation to present a negative test result from fully vaccinated persons at the border crossings within the island has been lifted as of 09:00 am in the morning today. Negative test results will not be requested from \u201cwho are considered to be fully vaccinated under the specified conditions\u201d.<\/p>\n
In the statement released by the United Nations Spokesperson in Cyprus, it was determined that the Bi-Communal Technical Committee on Health made a new assessment yesterday, new regulations to be applied in transitions were determined in the assessment, and the regulations will start to be implemented as of 09:00 today (03\/03\/2022).<\/p>\n
According to the statement, the test result will not be required for those who have two doses of AstraZeneca, Moderna or Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine and 14 days have passed since the second dose of vaccine, but must not have passed 7 months after the second dose or the reminder dose must have been done.<\/p>\n
The test result will not be required for those who have two doses of Sinovac, Sinopharm, and Sputnik vaccines and 14 days have passed since the second dose, and those who have one dose of Johnson&Johnson vaccine and 14 days have passed since the vaccination date, however, it should not have been 3 months since the second dose or a reminder dose should have been done.<\/p>\n
It was noted that no changes were made in the remaining applications.<\/p>\n
Accordingly, 7-day PCR or rapid test results will be requested from children aged 5-11, unvaccinated secondary and high school students, and those living in Pirgo.<\/p>\n
For those aged 12 years and older who have not been vaccinated, and those who do not have the reminder dose, as stated above, the PCR test result obtained 72 hours before or the negative rapid test result performed 48 hours ago will be requested.<\/p>\n
