The late leader of the Turkish Cypriot People\u2019s struggle for freedom and existence Dr. Faz\u0131l K\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck was commemorated with a ceremony held at his mausoleum in Hamitk\u00f6y An\u0131ttepe on the 39th anniversary of his passing.<\/p>\n
In his speech after signing the special book, President Tatar stated that he commemorated Dr. Faz\u0131l K\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck with love, respect, longing and mercy on the 39th anniversary of his passing.<\/p>\n
Tatar also reminded that during the British Colonial Administration, in a period when today’s means of communication did not exist, K\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck traveled from village to village in T\u00fcrkiye and ensured that ties were strengthened.<\/p>\n
Tatar also stated that the services of Dr. Faz\u0131l K\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck are very important for the Turkish Cypriots to continue their existence as a sovereign people in these lands and underlined that he was always in the public with Halk\u0131n Sesi Newspaper and as a doctor and that he led the people to adopt the Turkish Cypriot identity.<\/p>\n
