{"id":143329,"date":"2023-05-02T06:59:56","date_gmt":"2023-05-02T03:59:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/regarding-the-acceptance-of-the-republics-assembly-as-an-observer-member-of-turkpa\/"},"modified":"2023-05-02T06:59:56","modified_gmt":"2023-05-02T03:59:56","slug":"regarding-the-acceptance-of-the-republics-assembly-as-an-observer-member-of-turkpa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/en\/regarding-the-acceptance-of-the-republics-assembly-as-an-observer-member-of-turkpa\/","title":{"rendered":"Regarding the Acceptance of the Republic\u2019s Assembly as an Observer Member of TURKPA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The unanimous acceptance of the Legislative Assembly of the TRNC as an observer member of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States (TURKPA) during the 12th General Assembly, hosted by the Grand National Assembly of T\u00fcrkiye, has pleased the Turkish Cypriot people immensely, who are inseparable part of the Turkic world.<\/p>\n<p>Following the remarks of the President of the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdo\u011fan at the 77th United Nations General Assembly that our country, the TRNC, should be officially recognized by the UN member states; the decision of the acceptance of the TRNC as an observer member with its constitutional name by the Organization of Turkic States on November 11, 2022, and now as an observer member by TURKPA, is clear evidence that it will contribute to the strengthening and development of our relations with the brotherly Turkic states.
