On the 79th anniversary of the deportation of the Ahiska Turks, which has marked the history of humanity, Minister Ertu\u011frulo\u011flu has shared the sorrow of Ahiska Turks and commemorated those who lost their lives during the deportation with respect and compassion.<\/p>\n
In his message issued due to the 79th anniversary of the deportation of Ahiska Turks, Ertu\u011frulo\u011flu noted:<\/p>\n
\u201cAs part of Stalin\u2019s operation of clearing the cost of Black Sea from Turks, approximately 100.000 Ahiska Turks had been removed from their homes by force abruptly and by placing them into the trains, from their ancestral homeland in the Ahiska region of Georgia, they had been sent into the unknown in the remote regions of the Soviet Union on 14 November 1944.\u201d<\/p>\n
