{"id":143519,"date":"2023-11-23T09:43:11","date_gmt":"2023-11-23T06:43:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/ozankoy-martyrs-commemorated-2\/"},"modified":"2023-11-23T09:43:11","modified_gmt":"2023-11-23T06:43:11","slug":"ozankoy-martyrs-commemorated-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/en\/ozankoy-martyrs-commemorated-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Ozankoy martyrs commemorated"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Ozank\u00f6y Martyrs were commemorated with a ceremony in Ozank\u00f6y, Girne.<\/p>\n<p>State, government, military officials and civilian staff as well as families of the martyrs attended the ceremony held in Ozank\u00f6y.<\/p>\n<p>Ali Mehmet, Barut Ka\u015f\u0131k\u00e7\u0131, Nuh Ahmet, Necmi Ali Kaya, Halil \u0130brahim Recep and Mustafa Hasan Yava\u015f who had been martyred between 1963-1974 were remembered with a ceremony held in front of the Ozank\u00f6y Martyrs\u2019 Monument.<\/p>\n<p>Following the observance of a minute\u2019s silence, the firing of shots in tribute and the hoisting of flags to the national anthem, prayers and poems were recited for the five martyrs.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Ozank\u00f6y Martyrs were commemorated with a ceremony in Ozank\u00f6y, Girne.
