{"id":147045,"date":"2025-07-04T10:53:20","date_gmt":"2025-07-04T07:53:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/?p=147045"},"modified":"2025-07-04T10:54:35","modified_gmt":"2025-07-04T07:54:35","slug":"parliamentary-committee-is-in-ankara","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/en\/parliamentary-committee-is-in-ankara\/","title":{"rendered":"Parliamentary Committee is in Ankara"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Committee on Legal, Political Affairs, Foreign Relations, and Defence of the Assembly of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus is undertaking an official visit to Ankara to enhance inter-parliamentary relations and reaffirm the ongoing cooperation between the TRNC and the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye.<\/p>\n<p>During the visit, the delegation, headed by Yasemin \u00d6zt\u00fcrk, held meetings with the Turkish Grand National Assembly\u2019s Security and Intelligence, National Defence, Justice, and Foreign Affairs Commissions.<\/p>\n<p>In each meeting, Turkish officials reiterated their strong support for the Turkish Cypriot cause.<\/p>\n<p>Committee Chair Yasemin \u00d6zt\u00fcrk expressed gratitude for T\u00fcrkiye\u2019s multifaceted support, rooted in strategic and historical ties.
