Minister of Labour and Social Security O\u011fuzhan Hasipo\u011flu attended an international conference titled \u2018Protecting Children in the Digital Environment: Modern Tools and International Cooperation\u2019 held in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. The conference was organized by the State Committee for Family, Women and Children\u2019s Affairs, with participation of the United Nations Committee on the Rights of the Child.<\/p>\n
According to information released by the Ministry, Hasipo\u011flu delivered a speech at the conference titled in which he emphasized that protecting children’s rights in the digital age is a universal responsibility, Hasipo\u011flu said: \u201cEven though we may be isolated, digital threats know no boundaries. Solving these problems is only possible through national, regional and global cooperation.\u201d<\/p>\n
Within the framework of the conference, O\u011fuzhan Hasipo\u011flu, Minister of Labour and Social Security representing the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus; Bahar Muradova, Chair of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs of Republic of Azerbaijan; Mahinur \u00d6zdemir G\u00f6kta\u015f, Minister of Family and Social Services of the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye; Naima Ben Yahia, Minister of Solidarity, Social Integration and Family of Morocco; Sheikha Sheikha bint Jassim Al Thani, Minister of Social Development and Family of Qatar; Zahra Pezeshkian, Head of Iranian Delegation, together with Azerbaijani officials, signed the \u201cJoint Declaration on the Protection of Children’s Rights in the Digital World.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
